Three dollar Deals

I used to think I wasn't much of a garage "saler". (Let's be honest, they're really not that great in Idaho.) But then we moved to AZ...I'll always remember the first community garage sale I went to with my friend Marcie, last Fall. I found SO much great stuff and I was hooked for good! I can't tell you how long I've been looking forward to Oct. just for this reason. Anyway, I've been out bright and early the past two Saturdays and I found some awesome things...

I got all this "play food" for only $3!
I got this scooter for $3 as well--and it's in GREAT shape!
And, you guessed it--this little truck was also $3. It doesn't get much better than that! And that's not all I got. I also picked up some clothes for our baby boy and Caysja, some brand new baby shoes, and a string of Halloween pumpkin lights for only $1! I was pretty happy. Getting good deals seriously gives me a "high". It's a cheap way to get my "shopping fix".

That is so fun that you found some awesome deals. Nothing is better, especially when you are going through school!!

Yeah, they are lame up here and holding one is a complete joke. Everyone wants to haggle with you on the price and frankly, it gets pretty annoying, heck people, you are already getting a killer deal. Just pay me the extra 50 cents!!! Sorry, I got a little carried away there, but I am so glad you found some great stuff. My sister in law always gets good stuff down in TX too. I guess it's just Idaho.

Very fun finds! Sanitize that food. You never know what kids have sucked on it.

Those are some fantastic deals! We went garage saling (sp?) late Saturday morning and I got a few cool things - three mr. potatoe heads and accessories for $1! I thought it was fun, nothing as cool as what you got, but I guess we best be getting out of bed a bit earlier for the good deals!

Good for you! You live in such a nice neighborhood up there - that's probably why you get so lucky! Down here not so great, but still worth looking at every once in a while

You thought my tents were a great find? Holy Cow you find some GREAT STUFF! I'm coming along with you this upcoming Saturday (if there is another comm. garage sale). I also get a 'high' from going to garage sales! It really does take care of that 'shopping fix':-) And in a cheap way!

LOL, okay, I hear you on the not so great garage sales in Idaho; it's all stuff people would ship off to the D.I., but they first want to see if they can get money for it. Great bargain shopping!

That's impressive! Adam's mom would always find them the sweetest stuff at garage sales. I definitely agree with you on getting a 'high' on finding sweet deals, nothing beats that!
