Zion National Park

More catching up here...on the way home from Idaho, we stopped in Zion's National Park since it's right on the way. We've wanted to do that several times before but never made the time. It was so beautiful. I went there years ago as a child, but Caleb had never been before. Unfortunately we didn't bring the right equipment to do much hiking with our kids, but it was still fun to see all the gorgeous mountains.

Where do I begin...

We had so much fun at home in IF. I think we crammed as much as we possibly could into those two weeks and for the most part everything was perfect. The one glitch was that Caleb's oldest brother was injured in a motorcycle accident near Palisades and had to be life-flighted to the hospital. He's okay now though, thank heavens. It was pretty scary there for a little while.

Two of my sister-in-laws--Marisa and Kynda. We all have girls the same age and now we all have boys the same age! What are the chances?!

It's always so fun to get together with my three good flute friends from college whenever I go home. We always go to the zoo with our kiddos.

(Trying to catch up on blogging here...We actually went to the Phoenix Children's Museum before we left for our trip to Idaho.) Wow--We could have stayed there all day! As you can see...it's not just for kids! Caysja seriously LOVED that place!

Today is a SPECIAL day!!

Today is Caysja's THIRD birthday!!! I can hardly believe that. How can she already be three?!?! Where did the time go?? She is such a sweetheart and I can't imagine my life without her! I love her so much. Today is also my little sis's birthday as well. She is exactly 20 years older than Caysja. Happy Birthday Chalise! Wish you were here with us. And...today is also the 5 year anniversary of the day that Caleb proposed to me on the top of Thunderridge Mountain in Idaho Falls. So as you can see...today is a special day!
