We had a wonderful Easter!! (Sorry these pictures are posted in reverse order--oops! Why do I always do that!?)
On Easter Sunday our friends the Jensen's had us over for dinner. Everything was SOOO delicious. (Thanks again, Diane, you're fabulous cook!) She had the cutest little kid table all decorated with eggs.
We took some family pictures after church on Easter, but unfortunately our camera was a little far away (we just used the timer).
Thanks for the "sparkly" eggs kit, Grandma R. We had a lot of fun dyeing them. Kiki and Daddy took care of that on Easter morning before church. It was the first time Caysja had ever dyed eggs and she was so excited. (Plus she got to wear the new apron I just made for her!)
The day before Easter (Sat.) Midwestern puts on a HUGE easter egg hunt for all the kids...the only problem was that this year is was raining!! (So unheard of for AZ!) Anyway, they held it inside, but we thought maybe they would still try to have it outside--hence the rain boots!
After Midwestern's egg hunt, we came over to our apt. complex where they had a delicious continental breakfast as well as another egg hunt. Miah and Caysja had lots of fun!
On Wed. the week of Easter, we were able to go to the Mesa Easter Pageant on the temple grounds. It was fabulous and we were only 5 rows back!! (We went last year but we were way in the back.) We took our kids and they were great! Caysja could see Jesus and she enjoyed it. I think she really started to understand the true meanting of Easter this year and that was so wonderful.
Our playgroup also held a little Easter egg hunt in my friend Becca's backyard. The kids had a blast!

I am so grateful for this time of year. I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that our Savior died for each of us and suffered for our sins that we might be able to repent and live with Him again someday. I know that He was resurrected the third day and He lives today. He hears and answers our prayers. What an incredible blessing in my life the Gospel is.
