AZ Reunion

We are so lucky to have some of our AZ friends live so close by in Pocatello. A couple weeks ago we all got together at my friend Natalie's in-law's house for lunch and a "reunion" of sorts. It was a BEAUTIFUL home and definitely the largest house I have ever been in!!! It had three floors and a complete kitchen on every level as well as 9 bathrooms-- just to give you some idea how big it was! It was expertly decorated as well. I wish I could have taken a picture of each room. This is the back of the house and unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the front.

Their yard was also amazing with fountains and streams running all around it. Perfect for little boys to go wading in...

September Milestones

September has been a big month for Caysja. The day after Labor Day (Sept. 7th) she started Preschool and the next day she started dance. Both are with her cousin Mariah. They are having the time of their lives together! Caysja asks me every day when she gets up, "Is it a dance or preschool day?" It's so cute and it gives us something to look forward to each week--plus a break for me!

Here they are on the first day of dance. Her teacher's name is Miss Kortney and she does it out of her home. Right now they are learning a "Mermaid dance".

Here is Caysja's preschool class. Her teacher, Mrs. McKellar, teaches out of her home and has been doing so for over 15 years. This is the first time that she's ever had a class of all girls. It's the "Princess Class"if you ask me. (I was hoping there would be some boys...)

The moms were invited to attend the first day of class. I love the curriculum because they spend a lot of time studying great artists and composers (as well as colors, shapes, numbers, ABC's). For instance, Caysja is learning about Bach and Michelangelo this month! Last week she came home and told me what a "Fugue" is!

Memorable Firsts

I love taking pictures of the things my babies do for the first time. Of course with your first child you're really good at that and then by the time you have your third...well, let's just say you're a little bit busier! But I promise to try to document all the 'firsts' with Capri the best I can.

August Adventures

Some fun things we did in August included going to Idaho Fall's "Funland" and Zoo on their 75th Anniversary and getting into everything for just 75 cents! It was great! Caysja and her cousin Nelah decided to ride the "Octopus" ride. Here they are getting on. It is a little scary but I figured if she could on 'Splash Mountain' at Disneyland then she could handle this.

Here they are as the ride progressed...heads down and totally screaming!! It was actually pretty hilarious to watch!

Capri's First Day Home

Still attempting to catch up on posts here...

This is what I found waiting for me on Sunday night when we got home from the hospital:

Caleb and the kids had colored a HUGE welcome home sign for me, bought roses and chocolates, made a popcorn ball "baby" a homemade card, and cleaned the whole house! What more could I ask for? I was so surprised! Thanks, Honey!!

We stopped off for dinner that night at my sister-in-law's house--thanks, Marisa!

Snake River Roaring Youth Jam/Ammon Days

So, I'm a little behind in my blogging if ya'll hadn't noticed...Sorry about that! Life with three kids and no husband (except on weekends) is taking it's toll! Anyway, here's the beginning of my attempt to catch up. These pictures were actually taken the day before I had Capri and I never had a chance to post them. We went to the Snake River Roaring Youth Jam at the Greenbelt and my kids had an awesome time with all the fun, free crafts they provided.

We went to the top of Thunder Ridge Mountain where Caleb proposed to me and watched the sun set. Happy 6 years, Babe! Sure love you!

We also went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants--Johnny Carinos.

I actually couldn't remember ever having tasted cotton candy before in my life and thought it was rather weird!

And now for a pic of my three little kiddos! Life is crazy right now, but I love it just the same. Capri is a good baby and so very sweet. She is already ONE MONTH old! That is crazy to me!! My kids just about smother her with attention every day and are always fighting over who gets to hold her next. I promise to post a lot more pics of all the things we've been up to lately. Caysja started preschool and dance and is loving them both. We're trying to soak up all the time with Caleb that we can before he leaves for Tucson at the end of the month.
