Valentine Festivities

 I always feel like Caleb does a great job surprising me so often for my b-day, anniversary, etc. so this year I got the idea that maybe for once I could surprise him instead...so I talked my two sis-in-laws into doing a surprise romantic dinner for our husbands for Valentine's Day.  We had to do it on Sat. since on V-day (Mon.) Caleb had to be back in SLC for his rotation.  I told him I was going "grocery shopping"that afternoon but instead Kynda and I spent several hours decorating her dining room, hanging up lights on her ceiling and getting the food ready (we had steak and it was awesome!!).  Needless to say, once I told Caleb I wanted him to "dress up" for our date, that pretty much gave it away, but he was still impressed with how much time we'd put into planning it all and it was so fun to do something special for them.

On V-day morning I thought it would be fun to make heart shaped pancakes and "pink" milk--my kids thought it was the best

 (Do you like Caysja's princess attire?  That's pretty much what she wears every day)

 Since it was dance that day, her teacher told them all to wear anything pink or red and luckily we had both!

 After dance I took my kids to our new favorite place-- the "Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe" and let them each pick out their favorite cupcake

 My mom dropped this by for us on her lunch break from school--thanks, Mom!

 For FHE that night we "heart attacked" my parent's garage while they were at a rehearsal and left them a loaf of homemade bread
