We're going HOME!!!

We're going home to Idaho in just three more days!! Caleb's last final will be over on Friday and then he gets two weeks off for Thanksgiving. Technically you're not supposed to travel when you're 34 weeks pregnant, but I don't CARE! I want to go home!

I get to see my little sis whom I haven't seen in a year! Plus I get to go shopping with my sister-in-laws, and get spoiled by my wonderful parents and in-laws! We are so lucky to have so many family members (on both sides) living in Idaho Falls.

I keep telling Caysja, pretty soon we get to see three of your grandmas--the "kitty grandma" (my parents have three cats), the "train grandma"(her great-grandma has this amazing model train set in her basement), and the "motorcycle grandma" (Caleb's mom doesn't have her own motorcycle, but that's what that family of 6 boys is all about so that's what we call her (and grandpas, we're excited to see you too)! Anyway, yesterday we got in the car to run some errands and Caysja was like, " I go Grandma's house--three grandmas right now!" and I had to break the sad news to her that we still have a few more days here in AZ before we can go. Well, she must really be thinking about it a lot because that's all she could talk about this morning at breakfast. Luckily we have three birthday parties to go to this week to keep us busy. Can't wait to see you all soon!

That is so fun you get to go home. I am so jealous. You guys deserve it and let your family spoil you as much as they want. That is the best part!

I can't wait to visit family too! Aren't the holidays the greatest!?! And I LOVE how you have different names for the 'grandparents'. What a neat way to tell them apart and give a bit of spunk to their name...instead of just 'grandma' and 'grandpa'.
Be safe, and don't have your baby while your away!

WE do the whole Grandma nickname game too and I seriously can't wait to go home either. I'm so ready for the boys to be done with finals and then to be out of here for 2 weeks. Have fun in Idaho and drive safe. See ya when you get back. You are so close and almost a Mama of 2.

Yes, BIG COATS!!! We're "supposed" to get a big storm...although it's been around 37 degrees and raining in Pocatello.

At least Caleb will be traveling with you - right? I'm impressed that you are so confident that you'll get through those two weeks without having your baby. As for me, I'm already in the deluded frame of mind that MAYBE, just MAYBE it could be any day. Yah, right. Have fun on your trip!

Sounds like fun! I know I can't tell my kids where we're going until like 1/2 hour before or else they will be talking about it non-stop!!! Sometimes I accidentally let it slip though and I have to listen to the endless questions of when we're going and how many more 'sleeps' until we get to leave etc. :) Hope you have a good trip!! I have a friend that's due in a few weeks and she's taking a big trip this week too!! Crazy!

Wow, the day after Christmas? What a great present! Have you thought of any names yet? I love coming up with names... I am already thinking of names for our next one :)
I love going to visit family too! It is nice to have free babysitters, food that you don't have to cook, and something to break up the everyday routine. Have fun!!

PS, I posted too late the last time you drove up, but wanted to remind you about using bubbles for the drive up. You can turn the fans on high and then just put the bubble wand in front of the vent and let the bubbles blow back to Caysja. I haven't done it myself, but another friend swears by it for long car trips!

I remember packing up our kids to go to grandma and grandpa's in Utah. Those were such happy times. I am glad that you got to go and I hope you are having the best times ever!

Now that I'm the grandma I feel so blessed that my grandchildren can jump in the car and be here in 15-35 minutes!

I'm missing you! Be safe.
